| If you think prevent plant talk is going to affect the market, I'd point you to the 2019 chart for reference.
South Dakota had almost 3M acres of corn prevented, Illinois and Minnesota had over 1M acres of prevented corn a piece. Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri combined for over 2.4M acres.
What'd the market do?
Dec 19 corn had a spring low of $3.65ish mid May to high of $4.73 by middle of June. By mid-August it was back below $4 and stayed there till it went off the board.
Long story short, all the timely planted guys get to enjoy and sell the rally. Meanwhile you have to sit on your hands not knowing what kind of crop your June 5th planted corn will make....
