Set of 12 closing tails for John Deere 1700 series planters. Came off of a 1770NT but fit any of the modern row units (Maxemerge Plus, ME XP, ME 2, ME 5, Pro series, pro series XP, Exact Emerge). Everything is there including the stop block, spring, handle and tail piece, just need to add closing wheels of your choosing. Still in good shape, just have some surface rust, they were removed to put PP furrow force on. Would prefer to sell as a whole unit but will consider offers for less than 12. Also have "The Closer" brackets for 2x0 fertilizer application as well as a set of cast iron closing wheels, see my other ads for those.
