NE ND | We have a half section that we are going to tile this year. One quarter is paid for and ours. My son has a low interest beginning farmer loan on his quarter. Son is five years into a thirty year loan.
Our 1026 determinations came back great.
Legal Drain runs through my son’s quarter and Water Board approval is pretty well assured.
We intend to get an easement on my son’s quarter that will allow our quarter to utilize the pump station and mains. Just in case my son loses control of his quarter. Not too worried about my son losing this quarter, but stuff happens.
Am I missing anything on how to protect both my son’s interests and ours?
