Subject: Baseball hit distance

King City, Mo

Agtalkers are typically good at math and numbers. We appreciate how ya all helped us last fall figure the equation on 60’ mound vrs a machine set closer distance and what the speed equaled and that has really helped us.

He has been packing buckets of popcorn cleanout every day feeding the former bottle calves. So he is putting alot of power into his swing and making contact as he’s put hrs and hrs in on practicing.

What is the math to figure how far a baseball will travel?

His bat speed was 60mph when a former hs coach checked it this week.

Kids 14u pitch in the 50’s typically

Using a CatX Hybrid 32” -5 USA bat per little league specs. (I know his CATX USSSA is much hotter and read 10% farther with it but cant use it in the game.)

So how far will the ball travel on good contact?

At practice he hit a some 200-215ish ft I'm guessing when he had perfect contact.
