Western CO | Well we had a pretty good wheat harvest and at this point it looks like the corn harvest may out do it. I know it's nothing compared to most corn yields on here but this looks to be an outstanding crop for us (maybe 100 bu. potential). We are in a 16 in. avg. rainfall area and have had about 12 so far YTD. We don't get to see corn crops like this very often (last one was '99). Last year we averaged about 50 -- a lot of folks here will wonder why we even raise corn at those yields but it works well for us in our rotation. Just thought I would share a couple of pics.
