| The local elevator wants to rent some ground for a ground pile. It would be a big pile with lime down first. Trucks would haul corn to augers that would build the pile. What would it take in rent to make this worth the damage it would cause? Current cash rents are around $180.
There would be truck traffic to build the pile, truck traffic to reclaim the pile and once they commit to this project, weather would not be a factor. It would be a real mess under the best conditions.
