Subject: Monsanto flex cotton

west Tennessee
heard throught he grapevine moments ago that Monsanto is setting up meetings with dealers in west tennessee to confront complaints that their may be some type of problem with Flex cotton as far as yield results in a high stress environment......... can anyone confirm this? I will be contacting my seed dealers tomorrow a.m. and will post back my findings.. Can anyone curently confirm yields of flex vs. non flex varieties?.... we should start picking wednesday..... we are about 70 percent flex......

neighbors been picking for 3 to 5 days are reporting yields of 200 to 750 lbs........ alll dryland........ typically here we are about 900 - 1100 lb dryland producers. .......... Dave

P.S. MY PERSONAL OPINION....... I dont know if west tennessee will attain an average yield of 500 lbs or not...........
