Subject: Seed Wheat treatments?

South Central Kansas, Harper County
I treated all my wheat seed last year with Raxil, but have found a source for Dividend Extreme. Is it a good idea to change to differant brands/formulations each year? Has any of the Univeristies done any studies on the profitability of applying either Gaucho or Cruiser in wheat? The Dividend Extreme I have found will cost about $2.00 per bushel, and Cruiser can be added, anywhere from $1.00 more per bushel, up to about $7.00 more per bushel. Seems like a lower rate of Cruiser is good for wireworms, more Cruiser aphids, and still more Cruiser for Hessian Fly. If you went the whole route, Dividend plus the high rate of Cruiser, you would be looking at about $9.00 per bushel. Can a person expect at least a 2 bushel increase in yield by doing this, or is it year specific, as far as effectiveness?
thanks,
Jim
