New Madrid, MO | A lot of farmers around here have started burning their corn stalks in the last few years............................. my father & grandfather would roll over in their graves if I did !!!!!!! I think it defeats the purpose of rotating to corn.
How much do you think they are loosing by doing this???
Most of em do it because it's easier to work the ground to plant wheat & do fall tillage !! ( Saves em a trip or two )
