Subject: chiseling frozen ground

Bourbon, Indiana
Can chiseling when the ground is frozen on top do damage to the ground below the frozen level if it's a little wet? The ground is froze about 3/4" deep so I don't think I'd cause any compaction but I have never worked frozen ground either. This may sound like a dumb question, but we didn't get all the ground worked up that we wanted too. We've had about 2" of rain the last two weeks and if the ground was not froze then I know we couldn't run. But I just didn't know if it's gonna do to much damage beings in is wet down below. My smarter side of me is saying to just wait till spring but I thought I'd just ask.

thanks
Brad
