It is possible beans and corn may soon start going straight up ending in a blow-off. When's the last time either market has had several limit up days in a row. Been known to happen.
After the blowoff a considerable drop until spring weather/planting scare.
The above is only a possibility.
Sometimes pays to ask yourself if you'd like to short these markets. If you tell yourself you'd be crazy to try to short these markets I think you'd be right. Thus, I don't see many smart guys shorting this market and think most of them are sticking with their long positions and adding to them.
Do you suppose I might be wrong? Well of course I might be wrong, even very wrong.
