Subject: used combine advice

Having to replace an older deere combine with something less woreout.
Two dealers in the area, one IH the other Deere.
Need something to take off 400-500 acres of corn, 100 acres of beans.
Thinking a nice shape 20 series Deere (6620, 7720) or a 1420, 1440, 1620, 1640 IH rotary.
Realizing that condition and previous life means everything.
Given two similar combines in age, condition, capacity, and hours, what would your preference be ?
I see post where "should have gone rotary a long time ago". Are they that much easier to work on, last longer, run better etc ? Other posts "Green the only machine !!!!"
I do not want to start a color war, only looking for opinions.
Most farmers in this area have only had one color paint, so I do not feel I get objective opinions from someone who has run both.
I do realize they both have their weaknesses and strengths.
Your thoughts please.
