Subject: Silly little things they had already got right once

Anybody else got any silly little nuisance things that manufactures have stuffed up on their new models they had once sorted much better or simpler.

My silly little pet peeve complaint at the moment is the threaded rod holding the damn cabin air filter in on the 8000 series JD's. I remember the old 4650 we use to have that was build nearly 20 years ago had a step thread on the engine air filter so that you only had to undo the airbox lid nut a couple of turns to get it off & the same with the wing nut holding the air filter. But 20 years later that's no good for the cabin filter......no..... you undo the lid easy enough but then spend what feels like an eternity to thread the wing nut off the filter & all the way along the threaded rod.

Not a biggy I know but annoying none the less when you got about 3000 other things to be doing.
