Subject: Adding a pto to an older cat 65a

Has anyone added a pto unit to a cat 65/large frame challenger? I've seen some older cats with a pto that definitely cost more than mine ($12.5K), but may be worth trading for to get the pto - depending on what it takes to do it myself.

Thanks,

Pat

PS: The problem with getting into a cat cheap is that the next step is really steep - a 65E would be really nice, but at $70K/5000hrs/used on a scraper there are just too many other options (4wds/MFDs) with less hours, easier use that would be the more responsible purchase. There are some B and C models that are getting cheaper, but are not much different than the one I have (except for roller bearing midrollers and a nicer radio).
