Subject: fuel leak on a cat 65a

cropsey, il 61731
I think I discovered the cause of my more than expected fuel usage. I have a leak right above the transmission output shaft. It seems to get worse when it's running or full of fuel and until recently was hard to detect. Is this a common leak spot? Is there an easy fix? I'm going to dig into it today and do what repair I can, but it be nice to have a heads up on what I'm up against.

Thanks in advance,

Pat
