NE SD | Ok, now all you track fanatics what's your input on this? I have noticed that the J&M grain carts come with a track setup that is relatively shorter in length than the Kinze frames. Now, does this allow for sharper turning without tearing up the ground?? Also, can you turn around in a 60" width occasionally without tearing up the ground too badly or breaking any guide blocks(if someone could explain what those are it would be lovely)? Also, why do the Brent(Unverferth) carts still use track frames with tires as guide wheels? I thought that went out years ago? We had a J&M on tracks here one winter and it had tires like that and you could plainly see that the tracks were wearing hard on the tire sidewalls. TIA. Chad H. |
