| Long story short, volunteer helpers (haulers)(not their fault either, just happenstance) and after dark hauling, (making the obvious signs, hard to read) left my old 1086 'best girl' with out a beating heart. Question is-- where is the 'best' most reasonable, 'good' place to find a donor motor that would get this girl the most dollars back for it in the resale auction ring. Just seems a shame to park it without trying a new life for her. Spent a ton on her 10 years ago in the tranny. (more than I paid for her many years ago).
And HOW do you make sure the new motor is sound and 'good' before installing?? --d--
