Subject: poor man's vertical till

I use poultry manure for corn and to get full benefit it should be incorporated soon after application to avoid loosing the ammonia. I really hate to disk and am sure it isn't helping my soil either. The GP Turbo Till is becoming popular but I don't farm enough acres to justify the $30k + price. I do have an IH no-till drill with a coulter cart made by Blu-Jet, I think. The 25 wave coulters are on 7 inch spaces. I was thinking about taking the drill off and adding a tine harrow and rolling basket to make my own vertical tillage tool. It would be similar to the Salford RTS which has coulters on 6.75" spacing. Can anyone comment on how well the Salford RTS works. Does anyone make after market turbo till type coulters?
