Manitoba, Canada | I am wondering about using the GS2 monitor's rate control program to run a dry fertilizer applicator. It is a Valmar AirMax. It is basically the same principal as an AgLeader spinner box accept after the fertilizer drops off the hydraulic-powered conveyor it falls into a air boom rather than a spinner.
Therefore i feel that it is do-able to control a valmar the same way the GS2 controls an AgLeader. Does anyone have experience with this monitor and a spin spreader on a 4930 sprayer or even on a TerraGator? I should just need a Hydraulic Flow control and shaft sensor i belive to make it work, even if i have to trick it into thinking it is an AgLeader.
