Southern Alberta | I put a 160 acres into hay this year seeded it without a cover crop like the experts said dam experts. Looks like the hay grew fine but it has a lot of 4' high kochia and a few spots of heavy wild oats. Will this much trash affect the hay in the spring? Should a person rent a mower and mow it down or just not drive by it till next spring. Nieghbours probly not happy with the kochia blowin around. Wish i woulda put a cover crop of oats.
