Lewisburg, PA | I sell forages to a large dairy. Corn silage and haylage. We had a lot of grumbling going on till we set prices this fall butI'm not looking forward to next year. They owe me a big chunk yet but they pay me faithfully every month we should be paid up by july. The 600 acres that went to forages had set price's and I don't get a chance to play the market. I have another 500 acres that is corn , beans and wheat so I have some grain to work with. I was wondering if it would be smart to askfor the money to put into grains to try to make a beeter return on those dollars that I couldn't really market? OR should I just run away? LOL Luke | |
