At trend yield, what do these numbers suggest compared to estimated 2008 usage?
I am especially interested in the corn / soybean outlook. A 150bu/acre average yield produces roughly 13.5 billion bushels at this acreage estimate. A 40 bu/acre bean yield produces roughly 2.8 billion bushels. What is the expected usage in each?
