Subject: Bluegrass control with Osprey

The post on grass below tripped my trigger.

Anyone have any luck controlling bluegrass in wheat. I'm looking at maybe using Osprey, but I'm concerned about it stunting the wheat. Also, it's very expensive and it must be run with water and MSO so it's a seperate trip and you can't be within 2 weeks of a fertilizer application.

I'm thinking it might be better to just apply more nitrogen which would be less money (for now at least) and make up for the nitrogen that the bluegrass will scavange. The pressure isn't really all that bad, but it seems to be getting worse every year. I guess we'll have to start using more Finesse Grass & Broadleaf in the fall.
