Any one here have a Cat 3116 engine in a Chevy Kodiak truck?
I recently bought a 1994 Chevy Kodiak with the Cat 3116 DTI engine with 5/2 speed trans. It doesn't have much power until revved up to about 1800 rpm then kicks in and goes good, but then it's time to shift and right back to low power and seems to be lag in response to the throttle. IS THIS normal characteristic of these engines or do I have a problem? Thank you, Ted CenOH | |
