| I have two buildings that I currently have 380 ft of pvc conduit buried underground. Since this is over the 300ft limit for CAT6, I think that fiber is going to be my best option. Line of site is not possible, so wireless is not an option. So my questions are what exactly do I need? Any certain type of fiber cable? ends? Switches? Fiber to Ethernet convertors?? Is premade fiber cables the best option or how would I go about getting the ends terminated on a bulk cable? Is there anything special that needs to be done when configuring the switches or is it handled just like an Ethernet cable? How about good places to purchasing everything on the net? | |
