Subject: no-till beans into milo stubble

SE Nebraska
Milo this year rotating to beans next year. Two options I have in mind are no-tilling right into the stubble, or using a flail shredder to knock down the stalks this fall and then plant into that. My concern with the shredding is too much cover on the ground delaying warm up in the spring. Opinions or ideas anyone? Thanks
