Subject: Out-back guidance?

Effingham, IL
This has probably been on here before, but forgive me for asking again since I'm new to this site. I've had nothing but trouble with my Hardy foam markers and am considering just using a light bar. $950 for new foamer system, $1,850 for Outback light bar. I know both would be ideal! Can I get by with light bar only? Is Outback the one to buy? Is this + or - 3 inches technology something I could add $4,000 to get autosteer to plant with a 12-30 planter and use 8-30 corn head and be satified with the results? This is all new to me so any and all replies will be appreciated! Craig
