Subject: stripper head

NW Ohio
I know of a late model Massey stripper head that a farm machinery dealership has. They have asked me if I knew of anyone that might be interested. It is located in NW Ohio.
We have been running a Shelbourne head for 8-9 years. We located ours by contacting the Shelbourne dealer located in Cobey Kansas. 3 years ago, we installed a complete new drum with new stainless steel fingers. We really like this head.
I would not recommend a stripper head unless you are raising 60 bu. wheat or better. A stripper head is really efficient in 80-110 bu. wheat.
