nw NC | Finally, 26 months after the incident, the "good neighbor" company sent my wife a check for settlement of personal injury she suffered in collision caused by the other party involved in the incident. Wife deposited the check in our bank about two weeks ago. Yesterday we received a notice from our bank stating that "good neighbor" had stopped payment on the check. Also yesterday received another check from "good neighbor" in same amount as first one . No explanation from either bank or ins. co. as to why stopped payment on first check and issuing another.
Dealing with "good neighbor" has been a very frustrating experience. | |
