central kansas reno county | Started drilling milo yesterday and noticed a slight smell of something burning but I would come and go. Stopped a couple different times and couldn't see any smoke. Fast forward to this morning getting it ready to go. Notice in the cab that it seemed a touch louder than normal. Happened to look over the outside and noticed black soot on the fender. Thought we'll I guess I'm gonna have to replace muffler. After more inspection I opened the battery box and wow am I ever lucky. Guess I found the smell of smoke issue too.
