western iowa,by Denison | Had 300 fats that i had priced for $194,50 about 10 days ago today before the open it is $183.25,was trying to buy puts this morning from the insurance man-basicly a $160 put-doesnt seem to answer his phone.
Up till the last year i have always been ahead of pricing a year out-guess I got lazy and did not pay attention-usually just some cheap puts,the last 2 years it has been hard to by a reasonable put
Hopefully it comes back-currently it is a mess
When my neighbor that feeds a few told me his banker said he would not sell for $190 as by next Dec cattle would be $2 I should have sold them all!
