| I've had a couple neighbors inquire about liquid dairy manure. They're wanting it applied to hay fields, small time hobby farms. I would be trucking it to them with a 3,000 gal straight truck. Both places are around a 2 mile round trip. Trying to determine what a fair price would be, when we have had solid manure hauled in the past we paid the going hourly trucking rate to the trucker, that has been at least 5 years ago now. Don't see why I would have to give someone else a better deal. I've also heard talk about liquid manure being worth $100 a load at the lagoon. Also need to figure cost of agitator and tractor, using a 30 hp 3 phase pump pressure pump to load the truck, I can be loaded in about 6-8 minuets. Thanks for any input | |
