Paris, Ontario Canada | Replacing 8 (4 remotes) of female hydraulic cartridges. Seems simple enough…. Remove the wrap around spring….. remove the snap ring and spring…… pull out and replace.
Weird part is on both 1 and 2 remotes….the top two cartridges are jammed in there. They spin…. Move a little bit in and out. But they are extremely stuck. So much so we literally tore one in half prying it out.
Both of the bottom cartridges for 1 & 2 pulled out with little pressure.
Anyone have an idea of what’s up? They rotate…. Even the one that pulled apart has the rear nut/port piece loose and floating around in there….. but won’t come out.
Ideas or experiences would be helpful.
