Subject: Why I dislike dealer service dept.


2022 I call in and say my Jd 4700 sprayer has a hydraulic leak at the left rear wheel motor. This is spring by the way.
I ask that when they have a service guy in the area can he swing in and take a look to diagnose it for sure.
They do and send me a bill for 600 bucks that included time it took to prepare the estimate. New to me but whatever
They told me they couldn’t get any parts and the best thing to do was get a reman wheel motor since they couldn’t get parts to re seal this one. I tell them I’ll keep an eye on it as it’s not a bad leak and I took it in in Dec of 22 to get it replaced.
Spring 23, ran first 3 loads of burndown and oil leak is back. I called in, they agreed they’d warranty it. Again didn’t get it in until December. The amazing thing was was that then there were seals available so their warranty consisted of resealing the motor they sold me instead of replacing the one I paid 2500$ for.
Spring 2024 2 loads of burndown, hydraulic oil in wheel.
Reached the conclusion that they are all retarded
