EC Illinois | I am 100% notill, but I am concerned about nutrient stratification. I Had a casual conversation with a guy who does consulting work and he really urged me to pursue deep banding. Being no-till and in 15 inch rows, strip till doesn’t really seem to fit the program, exactly. However, I believe that I could take an old anhydrous bar, remove the closing discs, and add some shanks in between to achieve 15 inch bandit fertilizer. I just want to hear from some people who have done it and hear their testimony about the advantages they’ve seen, in roi. What has deep banding done for you? | |
