NESD | From the post on wind farms below I thought I would add some info from the Aberdeen American News this morning about the new blade plant being built for Fiberglass Mold Co. the building will be one city block wide and three city blocks long, didn't say what the dimensions of a city block are but when I drove by it a couple weeks ago the footings looked huge, and all under one roof, article said the steel weighs 1,440 tons equaling 108 semi loads. Rumor is that there will be a plant coming to build the generators here also. | |
