I took in some on wheat pasture for $1 a day this past fall. I had my own out there and room for more.
Owner didn’t have to do anything until I called when it was time to move off. I regretted it since January. Not enough money to mess with, check didn’t even pay for the extra fert I ran for heavy grazing.
Good lesson for me. I could have stuck yearlings out there for $3 a pound. And tripled my money.
