Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I've been that route. Starting with the original YM2000, then the PF3000 and an Insight. I had two Insights for a time. I purchased a new tractor and got an Integra for it.
Ag Leader had a trade up program and I could trade in my Integra and GeoSteer towards an InCommand 1200 and GeoSteer. I still have that InCommand 1200 and use it with Steer Command Z2 through my Deere's CAN bus. This included a GPS 6500 on TerraStar
I ended up trading the original Insight and a Trimble 750 both with Trimble auto steer and Nav IIs toward two InCommand 1200's both with 6500's and the older SteerCommand.
This season I traded in one of my 3 6500's toward a 7500 with a TerraStar Pro C unlock. This combo gets moved between my planting tractor, sprayer and combine.
This has all worked well for me. When going from the Integra to the InCommand you may be able to use your original display cable with an adapter. Otherwise you will need a new display cable since the display connector is different. I did have to swap out my original display cable in my combine instead of just using an adapter since I needed an ISO branch which the old cable did not have.
The unlock "game" is virtually the same as the Integra. If you needed the multi-product unlock with your Integra you will likely need it with an InCommand 1200.
I use Ag Leader's AgFiniti mobile on an iPad. I do not use its full capabilities which would require an internet connection in the vehicles. I have the iPad in the rig with me and data is transferred as a batch from the InCommand to the the iPad App when the field is changed to a different one.
This allows me to make and print basic maps directly from my iPad as it can print wirelessly to my office printer. I do this with the planting, spraying and harvesting maps. These maps do not have the analysis and query options that SMS has but are still very useful.
