Kittitas Co. Wa. State

I will tip a waitress, because I checked the labor laws and know waitress' are paid far less than minimum wage. (in Wa. it's $8.40 or some such now, just went up again..)

That aside, many of those other "handouts" are just a blatant money grap. I pay $10 for a haircut. If the gal isn't making money, she should reacess her rate. or find a job that pays $70 bucks an hour.

It's become far too expected to get a tip for doing a job that a person hired on to do.

Wa. has the highest minimum wage laws in the USA.  If an employee doesn't like his/her pay scale,, they should address that with their boss. Or,, find a higher paying job.

I'm not against a living wage for anyone. The thing that Whizzes me off is,, as a customer,, it is NOT MY RESPONSIBILTY to motavate employees to do a good (or many times just barely adaquate job) by dangling a tip in front of them.

G.D. lazy ARSE Boss's  need to motivate their employees themselves !!
