The only reason for the air bed is so 2 people can sleep comfortably in 1 bed, if they don't like the same hardness. My wife likes hard bed and I like medium, since we got the Sleep No. bed, we are both happy. You do need the kind with the number display to know when you have it set right, cause they will change.
