Durand, WI | I think Guys and Gals look at this completely different. I too have a daughter that is a beautician so I am a little bias. Anyhow this is comming from a Dad who encouraged his daughter to go to beauty school and fullfill her passion even though everyone told her she was nuts not to go and get a 4 year degree. The truth is in alot of cases (like waitresses) they do not make alot of money per hour and do rely on tips for their income. Bottom line if you like what your hair dresser does tip them and if not don't. I am completely surprised at some of the tips that my daughter makes, mostly from female customers and I might add that she is happy and good at what she does. (again a little bias!!). For her it is not uncommom to recieve at least 20% and sometimes alot more...or alot less. | |
