Kansas | The stock market is the most subsidized, government supported entity on the planet. Anyone who invests in the stock market is actually far more of a welfare queen than farmers any day. The dollars aren't even comparable in terms of taxpayer money propping up a system. The farmer hate here and elsewhere is simply a ploy to aid in blowing up the system which might be alright if we corrected all of this. But no, they will protect the stock market above all else, you and your farm will be left to twist in the wind.
