| I'm pretty sure something like half of the nation owes no income tax. I was referring to medium high - high W2 earners. There is a reason most Dr's are independent contractors and not hospital employees. There is also a reason CEOs prefer to be paid in stock options and not wages. All high earning business owners should be using a CPA firm to help them take advantage of tax laws. Schedules F, C, E, and D have helped me tremendously save taxes over if I earned the same from W2s. My W2 is my worst form of income without question tax wise - but I have bills to pay. I'm not sure if there really are a substantial amount of high ordinary income tax payers also simultaneously and consistently taking high capital gains. I would think many could benefit from a CPA who could come up with a better structure / plan. | |
