East of Broken Bow | What are your end goals? Do you have kids that want to farm, and to be able to pass it down to them, or do you expect to just be a one-generation farmer who's kids won't take over.
In every case I can think of, the multi-generational farms have been ahead buying land, provided they could swing the payments. You may have to live like a pauper for 20 years, but it might be worth it to you to give your kids a big head start in their farming operation.
If you have no kids or they won't farm, it seems foolish to break your back to buy something that your kids will just sell and not utilize. | |
