East Central South Dakota
You are right and I too understand both sides, and it’s certainly not black and white. Government policy is now the economic engine of agriculture and corporate socialism is politically correct. Industry is just playing in the parameters that bureaucrats write, and by the rules politicians pass. There is no integrity, honesty or science behind it. The whole concept from the birth of carbon intensity scores to the death of the co2 gas in an oil field well is corrupt and lacking any proven science. We live in the world as long as I get mine, the hell with the country. Our national debt is around 120% of what our economy generates in a year; that's our debt-to-GDP ratio. For financial safety it should be around 50%. As long as my industry benefits, keep spending.

Anyhow, you are right again, what a mess. Now that Poet is involved, I am publicly done with the issue. Blood is thicker than water.

Take care and enjoy your family and all the winter activities. Some day you will look into the mirror and see the leader, some of us already see.
