Sounds like the people who elected them don’t share your opinions
The election process for Iowa Corn seats is antiquated, to the point of a joke. The balloting is not online, is not convenient (requires in person voting at extension office), and the organization does not release the actual vote counts. Many board members are elected with one or two votes.
The system is set up for the board to do the bidding of the management, and it is very successful at that. I guess if I had a $500k cush job I would want to protect it too. |
