I fully understand...I showed the instructions for the chart a long time ago and morphed into what it is today, so if you haven't been following me then it will be hard to pick it through my post...I can't spell out the system because it isn't mine...I think you know where to find it though check it out if you are really interested in it. 

Once you know the colors for the lines and dates it should click.
