Scranton | If I didn't have a son wanting to farm, I'd probably sell out at $20,000. That'd be more money than I need to live the rest of my life in very good comfort. I'm pessimistic and kinda tired the last year or two. I'm working him in but I can't afford to retire as reasonable rent for him might make my land payments but won't give me the comfort zone I'm looking for. I guess I'll keep chugging away for another decade. I'll probably buy a couple more family farms yet so I'm screwed till I'm 70 lol | |
