| Two local wannabe BTOs paid 475$/acre for irrigated ground two years ago. Had to buy pivot, well is like 300 tops on a 1/4.
Another wannabe paid $450/acre and had to pay for manure, pivot, and motor.
This I state farming looks more enticing every year. Farm 4 weeks out of the year, complain about drought every day, harvest 200+ bu corn with no inputs. Chemical costs are cheap, don’t have resistance yet. Easy money. | |
