Thanks for the reply. Would the value be higher to a farmer running it himself? 200 bu corn ground and 50 bu bean ground. Just trying to get your thoughts on arriving at fair valuations. You and Boone are good with the numbers. TIA



Depends on where ground is located or if was already renting it..

There is some ground going to sell that drive by in couple weeks on the way to farm 320 acres that own 20 miles from home. Couple years ago would have went to the auction and maybe bought it. now am not planning on going to the auction as figure it will bring more than it will return vs getting 5% on the cash.

Having said that there are couple parcels of ground if the came up for sale, economics are thrown out the window as to what would pay.
